Pastor Rhonda Anderson-Johnson is committed to building up the Kingdom of God through the preaching and teaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She stays connected to the power source which is God Almighty for people to see the power of the Gospel evident in her lifestyle, speech and love towards others. Pastor Rhonda labors tirelessly in Christ because for her, it is all about the souls. Her objective is to disciple and preach the true Word of God. Pastor Rhonda has always loved reading the Bible and attending church with her parents and three brothers and comes from a long lineage of Pastors, Bishops, Evangelists, Deacons, and Ministers who inspired her to walk in her own calling in ministry.
She was Assistant Pastor for twenty-six years at God's Church of Deliverance and Power under the pastorate of her mother the late Dr. Martha M. Anderson serving in many different capacities and holding various titles such as financial administrator, praise team leader, Bible study teacher, youth counselor, playwright, adult Sunday school teacher, intercessory team leader, women's ministry president and much more. She also held the position of COGA Assistant Financial Administrator and Northwestern District Sunday School Superintendent.
In 1997, she was ordained an Evangelist and in 2019 as Elder. She has a true passion for people and loves everyone right where they are. Pastor Rhonda will help anyone she can in church and out with her husband by her side. She attended Virginia Tech and Virgnia Western, graduating Magna Cum Laude and was later hired by the CIA which increased her desire for traveling and helping people. Her greatest task is to magnify the Lord in her personal life as the wife of Elder Michael T. Johnson, mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren and spiritual mother to the multitude of spiritual children God has allowed her to mentor, love and guide in Christ's love.
